About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery to excavate trenches and install pipelines, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and with a strong focus on safety. This casual position offers the potential for permanent employment based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
•Operate excavators for bulk earthworks, trenching, and pipeline installation (up to 30tn). GPS and final trim experience highly regarded.
•Safely dig trenches of various depths and widths, following site plans and instructions.
•Ensure accurate placement of pipelines, backfilling, and compaction.
•Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
•Collaborate with the site team to ensure smooth project execution.
•Adhere to safety protocols and worksite regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
•Valid Excavator Operator license (e.g., RII qualifications or equivalent).
•Proven experience operating excavators in trenching and pipeline projects.
•White Card.
•HR license is a plus, however not necessary!
•Strong understanding of excavation and safety procedures.
•Ability to read site plans and specifications.
•Good communication and teamwork skills.
•Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
